2016

The following issues were listed on Berry's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Jobs: Missouri Congressional District One requires a dramatic revitalization that can only occur by growing quality private-sector and small business job opportunities, which will increase the tax base available for required government services. The St. Louis region must seek to develop the next generation of industries, focusing on transportation, internet commerce, technology research and development, off-site internet data storage and tourism.
  • Family: The foundation of Missouri Congressional District One is Family. The successes and failures of the St. Louis region can mostly be traced back to the strength of the Family unit. Failed social and economic policy have destroyed the Family unit in Missouri Congressional District One by attempting to replace Parents with Federal and Missouri government.
  • Justice: The United States Constitution does not have a zip code requirement. The U.S. Constitution applies everywhere in Missouri, including Missouri Constitutional District One. The failed Congressional leadership representing North St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis has ignored this issues between the courts and the Citizens on petty offenses for decades.
