Brown ran for election to the Eunice City Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 23.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Jay Caswell, Josie Frank, and Terry Hoychick.
General: He was defeated in the general election on December 6, 2014, after receiving 46.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Terry Hoychick.

Education
Brown received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from the Southern University Law Center.[4]
Career
Brown is an attorney in private practice and a former city court prosecutor. He is also a part-time assistant district attorney.[4]
