Paul Caprioglio
Paul Caprioglio was a member of the Fresno City Council in California, representing District 4. He was elected to the council in November 2012 and was sworn into office in January 2013. He could not run for re-election in 2020 due to term limits.[1]
Caprioglio previously held the District 4 seat from May 20, 2008, to April 7, 2009, while former District 4 representative Larry Westerlund completed a tour of duty in Germany with the U.S. Naval Reserves.[2][3]
Although elections for Fresno City Council are officially nonpartisan, Capriolglio is known to be a member of the Democratic Party.[4]
Elections
2016
Fresno held elections for the mayor's chair and four seats on the city council in 2016. A general election took place on November 8, 2016. A primary election took place on June 7, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2016. Incumbent Paul Caprioglio ran unopposed in the race for the District 4 seat on the Fresno Municipal Assembly.[5]
