Paul Clemente is a former Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 14 from 2010 to 2017.

Clemente did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.

Biography

Clemente's professional experience includes working as a CPA for Coopers & Lybrand, as well as co-owning and managing the now-defunct Clemente's Bar, Restaurant and Bowling Alley.

Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on August 2, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was April 19, 2016. Incumbent Paul Clemente (D) did not seek re-election because of term-limits.

Cara Clemente defeated Darrell Stasik and Loel Gnadt in the Michigan House of Representatives District 14 general election.[1]

Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Incumbent Paul Clemente was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Nathan Inks was unopposed in the Republican primary. Clemente defeated Inks in the general election.[4][5][6][7]

Clemente won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 14. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Edward Gubics (R) and Loel Robert Gnadt (L) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8]

Clemente won election to the District 14 seat in 2010. He defeated Brittany Guerriero, Frank Liberati, Rebecca Sarazin and Frank Vaslo in the August 3 Democratic primary. He defeated Patrick O'Connell (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[9][10]
