I Grew Up in Mount Clemens, where I met my wife and we chose to move into the city and raise our family here.

Currently hold a director role with a technology company where I work hand in hand with companies and their marketing teams to help deliver important messages to customers, stake holders, and employees. In this role I manage expectations and budgets.

My Early career focused working closely with presidential candidates and helping to produce nationally televised events across the country

I firmly believe that these skills can transfer to the role of city commissioner .
  • Dedicated to making data driven budget decisions with a focus for infrastructure improvements, city wide.
  • Good communication between residents and city government is key. My goal is to actively seek out conversations with residents and accurately and effectively representing the people of Mount Clemens. I think that working together with the other commissioners and city representatives in a cohesive and professional manner to continue the growth of Mount Clemens
  • Improving the image of the City is paramount to attracting new residents and businesses as well as making sure that current residents and business's can thrive!

Sensible Budget Decisions
The fact that the city is run by a commission is unique, that not one single person is making the decisions but a group with different perspectives and different strengths. It gives the commission the ability to accurately represent the entire community.

As a whole the city governments support the state government by focusing the voice of all the community's and expressing their needs to the state representatives.
My Parents, the hard work, emphasis on family, volunteering in the community, schools and church. to this day I look to them for advice and guidance.
Integrity first, but also humility and a willingness to learn and work well with others. City government is at it's strongest when working together in the best interest of the community.
The core responsibility is to the residents and businesses of the city, making sure the community feels seen, heard, and confident in the elected leaders.
I would like to be above all a good father and husband. After that I would like to be remembered as a person who worked hard to improve not only myself but also the people that are around me by being a good example.
At the risk of dating myself, I remember the berlin wall coming down - I think I was 8 or maybe 9 years old.
I worked at the concession stand at the Local Beach and I was there every summer throughout high school!
There's a bunch, for this I will say Band of Brothers By Stephen Ambrose
That the six city commissioners and the mayor each have an equal vote in the decision making process for the city.
I don't! There is always room for unique perspective and new energy at the city level.
There are many forms of experience that are beneficial in this role, but at the top of my list is leadership experience and working with and managing budgets.
The fact that the city is run by a commission is unique, that not one single person is making the decisions but a group with different perspectives and different strengths. It gives the commission the ability to accurately represent the entire community.
A woman who told me about her husband, who is the track coach at MCHS. She mentioned that the track had fallen into a state of disrepair and her husband, the coach went to the hardware store and bought black top patch to repair the track for the students. I admire that type thinking and willingness to give to make things better.
Professionally I would say the most proud I've been is when some individuals that have started in my department making big steps in their career whether within the organization or outside of it. Helping someone else to reach personal goals is always a Highlight.
