Paul Fritzsche
Paul A. Fritzche is an active retired judge for the Maine Superior Court on October 5, 2015. He was appointed by Gov. Paul LePage (R) on October 5, 2015, and his appointment was confirmed by the Maine State Legislature Judiciary Committee in December 2015.[1][2]
Fritzsche was a superior court justice for the York County Superior Court in York County, Maine.[3] He was appointed to the court in June 1986 by former Democratic Governor Joseph Brennan and served until his retirement in July 2015.[4] Fritzche retired in July 2015.[5]
Education
Fritzsche received his undergraduate degree from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.[4]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment in 1986, Fritzsche served as a designated representative of the Public Utilities Commission in Maine.[4]
