Collapse all
|- Significantly reduce the federal spending and pay down the debt.
- Bring our military personnel back home, stop the endless war cycle and close the more than 700 military bases we have abroad.
- We need to audit the federal reserve and systematically transition to a gold backed currency system.

Campaign website
Giesick’s campaign website stated the following:

America Needs Big Healthy American Families The federal government needs to promote an economy that works for large, hard-working, American families. Right now we have an ever degrading standard of living while the cost of living consistently increases year after year. Real wages are falling. This is why young men and women are living longer with their parents or living with multiple roommates. Economic stressors, like inflation, are why couples are postponing having children. Our federal government needs to stop hindering the growth of American families with their inflationary policies. Young men and women want to get married young and have large families but hesitate from economic pressures.
Wonder why you keep getting poorer and the rich keep getting richer? Do you recognize that America's middle class is being wiped out? Upset with the rising cost of living year after year? The answer is simple, its our fiat currency. Until we return to a gold backed currency system, our government will print, borrow and spend more money until it has no value. Our federal government spent $1 TRILLION in a single quarter last year. We added $2 TRILLION to our national debt in 2023 alone and we have nothing to show for it. Can you honestly say this or that was worth adding to our national debt? This is unsustainable and is one of the biggest threats to our national security. This reckless federal deficit spending is also contributing to high inflation rates, stealing your dollar's purchasing power year after year. Here are my fiscal & monetary proposals: 1. Reinstate a gold backed currency system. This is a MUST and should be a priority for ever hard-working American family. Gold backed money helps the lower and middle-class more than anything else by far! 2. Significantly reduce federal spending across the board. EVERYTHING gets slashed budgets. 3. Tax what you spend. Politicians like to borrow because no one likes to be taxed directly. This is exactly why we are now at $34 TRILLION + in debt. Stop raising the debt ceiling and stop the borrowing. 4. Audit the Federal Reserve in a comprehensive manner. The federal reserve has a monopoly on the nation's monetary policy but the constitution gives this authority to congress, so it ultimately needs to be abolished.
The right to bear arms was guaranteed in the Bill of Rights to citizens specifically to defend themselves from a tyrannical state. The only reason why we still have the privilege to practice many rights we enjoy now are because of those citizens who practice the right to bear arms currently. Guns are a critical and necessary check on big government. We need more responsible American citizens to take advantage of the right to bear arms while we still can.
1. Bring our troops home, all of them! 750+ military bases worldwide is not only excessive, fiscally unsustainable and unnecessary, but creates hostilities that could further hinder our national security. 2. STOP the endless war machine. Our congress has an obligation to formally declare war which we have not done since WWII. Have we not learned anything from Korea, Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan? 3. END all current foreign aid. We are becoming more vulnerable domestically piling on billions of dollars to our national debt for the sake of other countries. Let countries in war borrow their own money. Allow other nations with a more healthy debt to GDP ratio to assist. We simply CANNOT AFFORD IT! 4. START annual military and pentagon audits and cut the budget by the same amount that it cannot account for each year. It is appalling that the pentagon cannot pass a single audit!
This is a crisis! There is an invasion of mostly young men crossing into our country illegally. Illegal immigration should not be an exception to the rule of law. We need to put more resources at our southern border. 1. Deport every illegal crossing immediately 2. Build physical barriers where needed 3. Place permanent guard towers where needed 4. Keep families together and send them back together
The federal government should not dictate which energy resources should be subsidized or hindered by special taxation. All energy is necessary for the advancement of our standard of living, lowering inflation, economic growth and innovation. The free market should determine which energy source is best for application and industry. 1. Review and remove obsolete, unnecessary and growth hindering federal legislation for domestic oil production and nuclear energy 2. End all subsidies for energy
Why is there an expectation the general public should follow and obey all laws when our lawmakers in D.C. don't? The D.C. elite cherry pick which ones they regard depending on their current political agendas. We need to start electing officials that hold the U.S. constitution always in the highest regard without political bias. Our constitution is built to be amended where it is deficient or weak. It is the greatest foundation for a country of moral men. For the rapid decline in morality and ethics in our country, I would advocate that we amend our constitution to recognize Our Lord Jesus Christ as the Supreme Ruler of all of Heaven and Earth and in particular the great nation of the United States of America. But why? John Adams and other founding fathers have been quoted saying; "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people." Other similar paraphrases have been riddled in our nations conception. Our nation is beyond human help alone. We need to call on God for help and publicly recognize Him as our eternal King. We live in a society that promotes the killing of the most innocent and vulnerable, common families suffer the ever increasing cost of living while the biggest companies get government subsidies, tax breaks and are more profitable from big government legislation.
Nothing kills more Americans than abortions do. Life begins at conception. As a society, we need to elevate human life to its proper place of value and dignity in this material world. This is an issue equally important for men and women. The congress needs to pass special legislation to protect all innocent life, life beginning at conception at the federal level, to make it clear. All men are created equal. At the moment of conception, a life unlike anyone else is brought into existence. This new and unique individual has all of the unalienable rights endowed by their Creator, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Some suggest that abortion is healthcare which, if it was practiced at every opportunity, would promptly end the human race. Economic pressures are the driving factors for most abortions, we need to fix this with sound money, not endless inflationary federal spending. The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, states; "nor shall any State deprive any person of LIFE". Human life should be the pinnacle of our nation's civil value system again. To deprive any innocent person of life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness, is unjust and shameful. [2] |
