Paul Krekorian
Paul Krekorian was a member of the Los Angeles City Council in California, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2010. He left office on December 9, 2024.
Krekorian won re-election to the Los Angeles City Council to represent District 2 in California outright in the primary on March 3, 2020, after the general election was canceled.
Biography
Krekorian's professional experience includes working as a lawyer for Fisher & Krekorian, as counsel on the Webster Commission, and as a law clerk for the Organized Crime Strike Force, United States Justice Department.[1]

2015
The city of Los Angeles, California, held elections for city council on May 19, 2015. A primary election took place on March 3, 2015. Seven of the 15 city council seats were up for election.[2]
In the primary election for District 2, incumbent Paul Krekorian faced Eric Preven. Because Krekorian received over 50 percent of the vote, the general election for District 2 was not necessary.[3]

Capitol Weekly, California's major weekly periodical covering the state legislature, publishes an annual legislative scorecard to pin down the political or ideological leanings of every member of the legislature based on how they voted on an assortment of bills in the most recent legislative session. The 2009 scores were based on votes on 19 bills, but did not include how legislators voted on the Proposition 1A (2009). On the scorecard, "100" is a perfect liberal score and "0" is a perfect conservative score.[5][6]
On the 2009 Capitol Weekly legislative scorecard, Krekorian ranked as a 97.[7]
