Paul Lawrence

Paul Lawrence is a judge of the Eleventh Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed in September 2010 to a term commencing November 3, 2010. He was elected on Nov. 6, 2012 for a term that expires in December of 2018.[1][2][3]
Education
Lawrence received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 1985.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment, Lawrence was an associate judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court from 2002. He has also worked in the private practice of law.[1]
2012 election
Lawrence was elected without opposition on Nov. 6, 2012. He defeated Christian Gramm in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012, receiving 65.47% of the vote.[4][5][2]
