Paul M. Pozonsky
Paul M. Pozonsky was a judge on the Washington County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.[1] He retired from the court on June 30, 2012.[2]
Education
Pozonsky received his B.A. from West Virginia University and his J.D. from Duquesne University.[3]

Pozonsky charged with stealing cocaine
In May 2013, Pozonsky was charged with stealing cocaine used as evidence at trial. The prosecution alleged that while serving, Pozonsky ordered that confiscated drugs be brought into his courtroom for evidence. State police later said that the evidence was missing or had been tampered with.[4]
Update March 2015: On March 20, 2015, Pozonsky plead guilty to three misdemeanor charges related to taking cocaine submitted as evidence while he was a judge.[5] Pozonsky was charged a year after he resigned from the court (in June 2012) and moved to Alaska.[6] He was given a jail sentence of 30 days to 23 1/2 months and two years of probation.[7]
