Campaign website

Moss' campaign website stated the following:

Paul Moss on the Issues

Paul Moss is running for 3rd District Allen County Commissioner to bring his significant private and public sector experience to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability to county government. He understands how Commissioner decisions impact budgets, infrastructure, and public safety. More importantly, Paul will always keep taxpayers at the forefront of all decisions.

Fiscal Responsibility

Paul looks forward to working collaboratively with the County Council to continuously seek process improvements and cost-savings. With Paul’s significant experience in the county budgeting process, he will focus on strategic and transparent spending while pushing back on unnecessary growth in government and protecting taxpayers.

Public Safety and the Rule of Law

Public safety is a core responsibility of county government. Paul supports law enforcement and first responders and opposes making Allen County a sanctuary community. Compassion matters, but it must exist alongside the rule of law.

Infrastructure and Public Assets

County government has a responsibility to maintain roads, bridges, drainage systems, and public facilities in a safe, reliable, and financially responsible way. Paul supports long-term planning and preventive maintenance so taxpayers are not forced to pay more later for avoidable failures.

Economic Development and Property Rights

Paul believes economic growth comes from stable, predictable local government that respects private property rights, keeps the tax base low and allows businesses to succeed without excessive regulation. He will support policies that encourage investment and job creation while protecting neighborhoods, farmland, and community character.

Effective and Professional County Government

Paul understands how county offices interact and the importance of departmental cooperation to taxpayers and others utilizing county services. As Commissioner, he will work to improve coordination, reduce unnecessary red tape, and keep county operations focused on core services.
