Paul Muxlow is a former Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 83 from 2010 to 2017.

Muxlow did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.

Biography

Muxlow earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and his master's degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. His professional experience includes working as the owner of Muxlow and Associates Real Estate.

The candidate filing deadline was April 19, 2016. Incumbent Paul Muxlow (R) did not seek re-election because of term-limits.

Shane Hernandez defeated Jim Frank and Deena Marie Bruderick in the Michigan House of Representatives District 83 general election.[2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Marcus Middleton was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Paul Muxlow was unopposed in the Republican primary. Muxlow defeated Middleton in the general election.[5][6][7][8]

Muxlow won election to the District 83 seat in 2010. He defeated Alan Broughton, Kirk Dale, Justin Faber, John Hoffmann, Ed Smith and Eric Tubbs in the August 3 Republican primary. He defeated Alan Lewandowski (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[10][11]
