Paul Reilly
Paul F. Reilly was a judge on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District II. He was elected to this court in 2010 to succeed the retired Judge Harry Snyder.[1] He resigned from the bench January 3, 2022.[2][3]
Education
Judge Reilly graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Business in 1984 and earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987.[4]
Professional career
Judge Reilly was an attorney in private practice from 1987 to 2003 and served as attorney for the City of New Berlin from 1997 to 2002. Prior to joining the court of appeals, he served as a Waukesha County Circuit Judge from 2003 to 2010.[4]

Reilly won election to the Court of Appeals in 2010, defeating opponent Linda Van De Water 53% to 47%.[5]
Campaign finance
Over the course of his campaign for the appellate judgeship, Reilly raised $65,416. While Reilly's opponent Linda Van De Water spent an estimated $147,000 on her campaign, the bulk of that came from loans from the candidate herself.[6]
