Paul Schemel
Paul Schemel (Republican Party) was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 90. He assumed office on December 1, 2014. He left office on November 30, 2024.
Schemel (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to represent District 90. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Schemel earned his B.A. in philosophy and his MBA in contract management from the University of Dallas and his J.D. from Regent University in 1999. His professional experience includes working as an attorney at the law firm of Dick, Stein, Schemel, Wine & Frey, LLP, and served a one year State Department appointment in Iraq as an advisor on local government. He also served six years as a member of the Greencastle Borough Council.[1][2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Paul Schemel defeated Rita Daywalt in the Republican primary. William Hornbarger ran as a nonpartisan candidate. Schemel defeated Hornbarger in the general election.[7][8][9]
