Paul Stickney
Paul D. Stickney was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He began serving in this position in 1998. His last term would have expired in 2022.[1]
Early life and education
Judge Stickney was born in 1953. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1975. He then received his B.S. degree from the University of South Dakota in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the USD School of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Judge Stickney began his career in 1981 when he co-founded the Breit & Stickney Law Office. He helped run this firm until 1990, when he became a First Assistant Federal Public Defender. He then became a magistrate judge in 1998.[1]
