Paul Van Grunsven
Paul Van Grunsven is a judge for Branch 9 of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He assumed office in 2004. His current term ends on August 1, 2029.

Biography
Education
Van Grunsven earned his B.S. from Marquette University, his J.D. from Marquette University Law School, and his Master of Laws in Health Law from DePaul University Law School.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Van Grunsven was the Chair of Health Law at Kasdorf, Lewis & Swietlik, S.C. He was also an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School.[1][2]

Nonpartisan primary election
The primary election was canceled. Incumbent Paul Van Grunsven advanced from the primary for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 9.
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[3] Incumbent Paul Van Grunsven ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 9 seat on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
