Paul W. Garfinkel was a family court judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in May 1995. He retired in 2014.

Garfinkel received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1970.
