For over twenty years, my heart has been devoted to both nature and community. I’ve championed causes like raising funds for a mobile hospital with Ronald McDonald House Charities, bringing free essential medical and dental care to underserved children. I have successfully advocated for affordable home ownership and rental opportunities. Partnering with Representative Jimmy Panetta’s office, I helped shape the MONARCH Act of 2023, protecting our Monarchs and their habitat. Today, I’m active with the City of Pacific Grove, where I contribute to reforestation, tree planting, and special events at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History.

In my professional role at General Dynamics Information Technology, I manage projects within Indian Health Services, ensuring top-quality healthcare for Native communities. I’ve handled multi-million-dollar projects and played a part in planning billion-dollar initiatives. My passion for small businesses runs deep; having launched three of my own, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of local government support. Now, I’m eager to return that support and advocate for our small businesses with the same dedication and enthusiasm. I’m excited to bring my passion and experience to the PG City Council. Together, we will make a meaningful difference.

  • ENVIRONMENT One of the things I love most about our community is our stunning natural environment. We're lucky to be bordered by a marine sanctuary and to be home to rare and endangered species. People from all over the world visit us to experience our natural beauty, and it's our responsibility to protect and preserve it. Our environment is not just a backdrop; it's a vital part of our health, our economy, and the future we leave for our children. Let's work together to ensure our natural treasures are well cared for and continue to set our community apart.
  • QUALITY OF LIFE Pacific Grove is a city of homes, and I’m committed to keeping it that way. Our small-town charm, iconic tiny Victorian architecture, seaside living, rugged oceanscapes, unique ecology, and safe family environment are what make PG special. We face many challenges, but with thoughtful solutions, we can continue to enhance our quality of life. By making PG a more attractive home for small businesses, preparing for climate change, updating our infrastructure, and encouraging public participation in government, we can create a vibrant, beautiful, and thriving community for everyone.
  • TRANSPARENCY In a place as close-knit as Pacific Grove, transparency fosters trust and strengthens our community bonds. It ensures that we’re not just living in a beautiful city but also engaging in a democratic process that reflects our collective values and interests. Embracing transparency is about preserving the integrity of our local government and enhancing the quality of life for every resident. It’s about making sure that the decisions that affect our lives and our future are made with clarity and inclusivity, keeping Pacific Grove the wonderful place we all love.
I am passionate about ensuring that Pacific Grove remains a place where both nature and community thrive.
Stewardship of our environment protects the future of Pacific Grove. Keeping Pacific Grove a small town preserves the unique heart and soul of our community for future generations. And including all community voices in our governmental decision making ensures the integrity of our city government and protects the wellbeing of our citizens.
Integrity is the commitment to do what is right, even when doing the right thing is hard. As leaders, we are entrusted with the well-being of our community. This responsibility means making decisions that serve the greater good, not personal interests or convenience. Acting with integrity builds trust—trust that decisions are being made with the people’s best interests at heart.

Honesty is at the heart of transparency. Honesty means being open with the community, sharing the challenges we face, and celebrating our successes together. Honest communication allows us to understand each other, to engage in meaningful dialogue, and to ensure that every voice is heard. A leader who is honest earns the respect of those they serve, even when the answers are difficult.
Empathy is what connects leaders to the people they serve. In our diverse community, empathy allows us to bridge divides, to consider perspectives that differ from our own, and to create solutions that reflect the needs of everyone. Empathy reminds us that leadership is about service to others. It’s about standing in the shoes of our neighbors and acting in a way that uplifts us all. Empathy ultimately helps guide decisions that are compassionate and fair.

These values—integrity, honesty, and empathy—are not optional; they are essential. They guide us in moments of crisis and inspire us in times of prosperity. I believe that when our leaders embody these principles, we create a culture of respect, accountability, and shared purpose.
As a child, I was taught to leave things better than I found them. This lesson has guided me through my career, volunteerism, and civic participation. The legacy I wish to leave Pacific Grove is a plan for a brighter future that navigates climate adaptation while preserving PG’s small town character, kind and generous heart, natural habitats, infrastructural integrity, and economic vitality. Most of all, I would want residents of today to be able to recognize their home 100 years from now. The character and heart of our town are gifts we provide to the world and they are too precious to squander or sacrifice. To lose these gifts would be to rob our children and the future of a quality that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, and would never be seen again once lost.
