Paula Gomora was a judge of the Twelfth Circuit Court (Subcircuit No. 4) in Joliet, Illinois.[1] She was first appointed to the bench in 2001 but failed to retain her seat in the 2002 election. After a six-year hiatus she won a seat on the court in 2008.[2][3] She was retained on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[4]

Gomora was retained to the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court with 74.4 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Paula Gomora as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[5]

Education

Gomora earned a bachelor's degree from Knox College in 1984, going on to receive her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1987.[6]

Career

Awards and associations

Gomora has experience as the president of Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Will and Grundy counties.[6]
