Sullivan ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 53. Sullivan and Mark McBride advanced to the August 28 primary runoff. Sullivan was defeated by Mark McBride in the primary runoff election on August 28, 2012.[2] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5][6][7]
