Pedro Mejia
Pedro Mejia (Democratic Party) was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 32. He assumed office on April 12, 2018. He left office on January 9, 2024.
Mejia (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 32. He won in the general election on November 2, 2021.
Mejia replaced Rep. Vincent Prieto (D), who stepped down in February 2018 to become president and CEO of the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority.[1][2]
Biography
Mejia's professional experience includes owning a small business, the Mejia Corporation, in the residential real estate industry. He has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He was the first Dominican-American to serve in the state Legislature.[1]
