Davenport ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma Senate District 43. Davenport and Corey Brooks advanced to the August 28 primary runoff. Davenport was defeated by Corey Brooks in the primary runoff election.[1] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4][5][6]
