Biography
Peggy Stevens was born in Logan, Utah. She attended Ricks College in Idaho and Portland Community College. Stevens' professional experience includes owning PK Property and being an accounting supervisor. She served on the Sherwood School Board of 11 years.[1]

|- I want to protect our towns from Portland's problems.
- Politicians always want more of our dollars to solve other peoples problems. We need to hold the line on new taxes and new expenditures. Our state budget has grown by almost $40 billion since 2009. Another $3 billion in taxes last year.
- I would like to make our state family friendly and business friendly. I have friends and neighbors who say they plan to move out of state because of Oregon's high taxes.
It was a very sobering time. School was dismissed. We all very somberly went home.
