Penelope R. Cunningham is a former judge for the Ohio First District Court of Appeals. She served on the court from 2007 to 2019.

Education

Cunningham received both her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Cincinnati in 1984 and 1987, respectively.[1]

Career

Cunningham began her career working as an attorney in private practice. She served as a referee in the Hamilton County Domestic Relations Court for over six years and then as an assistant prosecutor for Hamilton County. In 1995, Cunningham was appointed to the Hamilton County Domestic Relations Court, where she served as judge until her election to the Ohio First District Court of Appeals.[1]

Cunningham was re-elected to the Ohio First District Court of Appeals after running unopposed on November 6, 2012.[2]
