I’m Pennie May Landry, running for Metro Council District 11 with decades of leadership and community service experience. My commitment is to tenaciously deliver enhanced oversight, fiscal accountability, and real solutions to crime and infrastructure. The focus is on using taxpayer dollars wisely and ensuring public services operate efficiently. As a "no-party" candidate, the goal is to unite the community and help East Baton Rouge thrive as a safe place for everyone.
  • 1. Funding for the I10 widening project is approaching a 1 billion $ shortfall. I will ACT to ensure NO additional EBR taxpayer dollars are allocated until the plan is revised to effectively eliminate traffic challenges.
  • 2. will ACT on the restructuring of CATS & BREC to ensure a greater return on taxpayer funding
  • 3. I will ACT to address escalating blight, homelessness and crime statistics with effective solutions.
