Perry Cockerell (Republican Party) ran for election for the Place 12 judge of the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. He lost in the Republican primary on March 6, 2018.

Biography

Perry Cockerell served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 2014 and reached the rank of commander. He earned a B.S. from Texas Wesleyan University in 1978 and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1980. Cockerell’s career experience includes working as an attorney with Ungerman, Hill, a partner at Canty Hanger, LLP, an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, and a shareholder at Adkerson, Hauder & Bezney, P.C. He volunteers with the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, which describes its purpose as “offer[ing] tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis.”[1][2][3]
