Born in Floyd County in Eastern Kentucky, Perry Gibson moved to Fayette County in January of 2008 and graduated from Henry Clay High School in 2010. After being accepted to the University of Kentucky, he went on to graduate with 2 separate BA's in 2015: one in German and the other in International Studies. He became a State Registered and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in 2018. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Western Governors University in 2024.

Being pragmatic while being progressive. Whether we like it or not, progress has to come in steps within the model of government that we have.

I am for financial transparency and government accountability. Accountability at the ballot box for minor issues, and accountability via impeachment, censure, and removal for major issues.
