Perry H. Gravely
Perry H. Gravely is a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in South Carolina. He was elected by the South Carolina General Assembly on February 4, 2015, and took office on April 13, 2015. He was re-elected on February 2, 2022.[1] He was previously a municipal judge for the Pickens municipality in Pickens County, South Carolina.[2]
Education
Gravely received a bachelor's degree in history from Wofford College in 1983, and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1986.[3]
Career
Prior to his election to the circuit court, Gravely was a municipal court judge in Pickens, S.C. from 2003 to 2015. He also ran a law firm, The Gravely Law Firm, P.A. from 1995 until 2015. He had previously worked as an attorney with Leatherwood, Walker, Todd and Mann in Greenville, and Acker, Acker, Welmaker and Johnson in Pickens.[3]
