Pete Jorgensen (b. June 22, 1935) was a Democratic member of the Wyoming House of Representatives. He represented District 16 since 2003. Previously, Jorgensen was State Committeeman/Precinct Person for the Wyoming Democratic Party from 1990 to 2004. He was a National Committeeman from 2004 to 2008 as well.

Jorgensen earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University in 1957.

Jorgensen was a Highway Engineer for the United States Bureau of Public Roads Federal Highway Administration from 1957 to 1958. In 1958, he was in the United States Army at Fort Leonard Wood. He then resumed working for the United States Bureau of Public Roads from 1957 to 1965. Jorgensen worked as a Resident Engineer for Tippets, Abbot, McCarthy, and Stratton from 1965 to 1967. From 1967 to 1970, he was an Engineer for Surveyor Scherbel, Private Limited Company. He also worked as a Civil Engineer/Consulting Engineer for Pete Jorgensen Engineering during this time. He then worked as Senior Engineer for Roy Jorgensen Associates from 1970 to 1974. He was Owner/President of Jorgensen Engineering and Land Surveyors, Professional Corporation from then until 2003. From 1996 to 2002, Jorgensen also worked as Director of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. He has also worked as a Senior Consultant in Engineering/Planning/Surveying for Jorgensen Associates, Professional Corporation from 2003 to 2006.[1]

Jorgensen did not run for re-election to the Wyoming House of Representatives, District 16.
