Kelly served as state Senate president.

Biography

Kelly earned his B.S. in management from Liberty University in 1996. His professional experience includes working as a heavy equipment operator, real estate agent, sales manager for K101FM, owner of Kelly Communications, director of state relations for the University of Alaska and special assistant to the governor.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Tamara Kruse Roselius was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while District B incumbent Pete Kelly was unopposed in the Republican primary. Kelly defeated Roselius in the general election.[4][5][6][7]
