Pete Mallory

Pete A. Mallory is a judge for the 14th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was first elected on November 2, 2010 to replace retired Judge Dedee S. Costello. He was re-elected without opposition to a new six-year term in 2016.[1][2][3]
Education
Mallory received his J.D. degree from Loyola University in 1983. He also served as a Judge Advocate General Corps captain in the U.S. Army.[3]
Career
Mallory, along with his wife, ran the law firm of Mallory and Mallory prior to his election to the circuit court in 2010.[3]
Elections
2016
Florida's 20 circuit courts all had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 151 seats up for election, 125 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 26 opposed races, only 10 saw more than two candidates file. [4]

2010
Mallory won the election in the primary for Group 2 of the 14th Circuit Court, receiving 53.9% of the vote. He then ran unopposed in the general election on November 2nd.[1][5]
