2017
Meitzner sought election to the 4th Congressional District of Kansas in the 2017 special election.[2][3]
2015
The city of Wichita, Kansas, held elections for mayor and city council on April 7, 2015. A primary took place on March 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 27, 2015. Three of the six city council seats were up for election.[4]
In the primary election for District 2, incumbent Pete Meitzner and Jim Price advanced past Anthony K. Mitchell. Meitzner defeated Price in the general election on April 7.[5][6]
