Biography
Peter Abbarno earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1997, a J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2008, and an L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 2009. Abbarno’s career experience includes working as an attorney.[1][2]

I am current president of the Centralia College Foundation, member of the Lewis Economic Development Council board, host of the AM1470 KELA "Let's Talk About It" show, and I volunteer with a number of organizations including WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) and the Hub City Mission Cold Weather Shelter, and mentor at several local schools.
In 2018, I was voted the "Best Volunteer" in Lewis County by the Daily Chronicle newspaper readers. In 2019, I was named the 'best elected official' in Lewis County by the Daily Chronicle newspaper readers, received the "Economic Development Leadership Award" from the Lewis County Economic Development Council, and received the Human Rights Award from the Church Women United organization. In February 2020, I was honored to be named "Person of the Year" by the Daily Chronicle newspaper's editor board staff.
