Peter Asciutto
Peter Asciutto was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 67 of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
At the time of his candidacy, Asciutto was serving his first term as Stanly County Commissioner.[1]
Biography
Asciutto earned his A.A. from South Florida Junior College and his bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Troy State University. His professional experience includes owning and operating a small business, Vac & Dash (vacuum cleaner sales and service and running gear sales), in Albemarle.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the North Carolina House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Incumbent Justin Burr defeated Peter Asciutto in the Republican primary, while Nalin Mehta was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Mehta was defeated by Burr in the general election.[2][3]
