Peter Cannon was the Precinct 3 incumbent on the Davis Board of Education in Utah. He lost in the primary election on June 24, 2014, to challengers David S. Nelson and Julie Tanner.
Cannon was also a 2012 Republican candidate for District 18 of the Utah House of Representatives.
