I am the blue-collar candidate in this congressional race. I had worked in small businesses all my life. These jobs include working for two restaurants, one in the kitchen and one as both a barback and a waiter. My other two jobs were working as a delivery driver for a flower shop and working in a cotton factory. I come from a small business family background that opened and operated a restaurant and a flower shop. From a young age I was always fascinated with the Founding era of the United States and the Constitution of the United States. Since then, I have centered my education around that and had chosen to study American history and government at two different institutions. I love to discuss constitutional theory and explain to people how are government is supposed to work. Just like my country, I am young and hungry, and I wish to serve the freest people on earth.
  • Taxation and the 16th Amendment/ I wish to promote legislation to repeal the sixteenth amendment as I believe it is unconsitutional and immoral to tax one's labor. Whatever money you make should stay in your pocket.
  • Law Enforcement/ New York City is being overrun by criminals and illegal aliens. That can trickle onto Long Island if left unchecked. I wish to promote policy to allow local law enforcement to enforce federal law and return New York to her former glory.
  • Education/ I wish to eliminate the department of education. I do not want taxpayer money going to an institution that brainwashes individuals on one area of thought. Schools ought to be a place of freedom of thought. The federal government also needs to stop subsidizing schools with taxpayer money.
I am passionate about taxation, education, and constitutional principles.
The core responsibilities of a congressman is to follow and honor the constitution of the United States and to represent the interests of the people in their district.
For members of the House of Representatives, I do not believe in term limits as the short term in office acts as a check on the member by the people. However, I do believe that the Senate should have term limits.
Lee Zeldin. His leadership was amazing in that he knew how to reach out to all of his constituents, not just his voting base. I had the pleasure to intern for him in 2019 and it was wonderful to work for a congressman who deeply cares about his constituents.
Yes, but compromise only for policy that promotes constitutional principles.
I believe that this power would play a role in my candidacy in that I would want this power to be used for the purpose laid out in article 1 section 8 of the constitution. Taxes are for specific purposes and nothing else.
The Constitution does not explicitly state that the US House has investigative powers. However, I believe they should use this ability to investigate politicians who are breaking the law and to impeach those individuals.
