|I believe that the issues of the Sierra Nevadas and the foothills should be represented in Washington. Fires are raging, towns getting wiped off the map, water quality deteriorating in the rural areas, and not enough water is being stored. As the Representative for the Sierra Nevada region, I intend to cut through the noise of partisan Washington DC and from those running for this position from the Sacramento Suburbs.
There are pressing matters in this region and I intend to speak into them, fight for them, and pragmatically work on solutions with my colleagues from California and Nevada, intentionally seeking out bi-partisan solutions.- We need to be stewards of our forests and natural resources
- We need to be better prepared when wildfire season faces the Sierras
- We cannot let the Sierras be represented in DC by a partisan from the Sacramento suburbs. This district stretches from Lake Almanor to Death Valley and covers hundreds of miles of forest land
