Peter F. Estrada is a judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Jeb Bush in November of 2005. He was the first Hispanic judge to serve in this circuit.[1][2]

Estrada was re-elected in 2008 and 2014, and his current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[3][4][5][6]

As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [5] 

Education

Estrada received his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida in 1983 and his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1988.[1][2]

Career

Estrada began his career in 1988 as an assistant state attorney in the Tenth Judicial Circuit. He joined the Highlands County Court in 2003 and was appointed to the circuit court in 2005.[2][3]
