Good day! My name is Peter Filler. I am a Realtor and a small business owner. My interest in politics began around a dinner table, where my family would have spirited debates on the topics of the day. Now is my chance to engage with the public and business leaders to prove I have what it takes and become a political leader.
  • Integrity counts. Being a Realtor and an Insurance agency owner requires a high degree of honesty. I follow laws, rules, and regulations, but I go above and beyond the bare minimum standards. Striving for excellence is what I do by providing outstanding customer service, putting my customers best interests ahead of mine. As your honorable representative in Congress, I will bring and deliver that same skill set to you my constituents on a daily basis.
  • Experience counts. Being a trustworthy public servant over the course of my professional career has taught me many valuable lessons. Most importantly striving for best outcomes for those who I serve. When elected to Congress, I will seek to enhance the voices of the public and business leaders, while working for best possible outcomes for the citizens and businesses in our district.
  • Leadership counts. Since graduating and earning my Bachelors degree in Resource Management, I have learned that the best leaders in our society are exemplary models and have a magnetism that draws followers to them. This draw is powerful and persuasive, because successful people exemplify strength, resolve, and unity. In the same way strong political leaders require a pull to them to get consensus and work in a non partisan manner. This will be my goal, to work for the betterment of our country, while be a unifier and delivering the best possible outcomes for American citizens and businesses.
I'm passionate about delivering and meeting our countries demands for resources. This excitement lead into the field of Forestry where I learned and practiced innovating into ways energy is produced in renewable ways. If elected I would work on the Energy and Commerce committee to ensure critical electricity is widely available in our district to bring down the costs. I would also work on contingency plans in cases of emergency to ensure if power is lost due to unforeseen reasons like storms, that energy disruptions are minimal and restoration of power is expedited to ensure best outcomes to neighborhoods and businesses that are impacted by the loss of vital electricity. I would also work on solutions to increase energy production.
I believe Honesty, Integrity, Trustworthiness, Excellence, and Courage are the most important characteristics and principles an elected official should possess.
I believe the core responsibilities of someone elected to serve in Congress are to be, public service exemplary models, business building and development promoters, crisis prevention and emergency managers, engineering and infrastructure project overseers.
If elected, the legacy I would like to leave behind will be district that is energy self sufficient. Our area has a focus on business and industry including, petrochemicals, advanced plastics, hydrogen and energy storage, which relies on electricity. I would like my legacy to be one that guaranteed abundant energy is available to sustain residential neighborhoods and commercial endeavors without compromise.
I believe term limits on congressional representatives would be a good step in preventing legislative gridlock. Representatives who are continually seek reelection tend to lose sight on there constituents, including families and businesses. Special interest and lobbyists steer long time congressional members agendas and priorities. That's why I believe term limits are good for a more productive congress.

Working on the Budget committee finding ways to pay down our nations staggering $37 trillion dollar national debt. Working on the Energy and Commerce committee along with private industry to spur innovation in energy development.
An elected official most importantly must be honest. They are making decisions that impact the lives of many other people. That's why an elected official must be trustworthy. When an elected official has a good reputation they are trusted and can focus on serving the best interests of the community.
I possess the qualities of high moral standards and taking personal responsibility which I believe will make me a successful office holder. My goal setting allows me to focus as I strive to reach my full potential.
The core responsibilities of someone elected to Congress are to work in a fair and just ways for the betterment of our country.
Term limits for members of Congress is a topic that's up for debate in the public. However, it seems obvious that established members of Congress aren't interested in bringing the topic of term limits up for debate. As a candidate I am for term limits to prevent career politicians from losing sight of their mission, serving their constituents and country.

Campaign website

Filler’s campaign website stated the following:

Representing Your Interests
With The Values of Ethics and Integrity

I want to work bringing home appropriations back to our district that address the most pressing issues at home. Repairing aging infrastructure and helping the people who need the most help in our community. I will bring home funding for projects like Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity that build our community from the ground up. I will always lead with honesty, striving to constantly improve our districts health and well being. I will prioritize my responsibilities and put my constituents concerns and needs first above all else. I will follow the rule of law and behave in a proud and confident manner knowing I have the backing of my constituents. I will do right for your and your family, always remembering I have your best interests at heart.

Working For The People
The Voice Of Reason In The US House

I want to work on the Homeland Security Committee on a bill to prevent gun violence tragedies in our schools. I want to work on the Foreign Affairs Committee on a bill that will resolve the crises at our southern border. I want to work on the Homeland Security Committee toto pass a bill that will take deadly Fentanyl and Heroine off our streets, and out of our kids hands. I would like to work on the Oversight Committee codifying Roe. vs. Wade, restoring a women's health care rights, so women can choose what happens to their own bodies. I want to work on the Homeland Security Committee and pass a bill that un-schedules Marijuana, removing Cannabis from any schedules, and taxes the plant. The byproduct will be less overdose deaths and the tax proceeds will be used to fund a robust drug treatment program, including homeless shelters, and heroine addiction recovery centers.

Go Getter In The U.S. House
My goal is to work persuasively on the Energy and Commerce Committee. One of my missions is to pass a bill that would strengthen the reliability of Solar and Wind power. Another mission of mine is to work on passing a bill that funds research. Finding a viable alternative to fossil fuels, including researching and developing biofuels and other reliable renewable fuel sources.

It's hard to watch the news now from Israel, and Gaza right now. If I were to become a Representative my goal would be to work persuasively on the Foreign Affairs Committee. I would work to halt the war and demand the release of all the Israeli hostages held captive by Hamas. An immediate cease fire in Gaza. And call for aid to be sent in for the suffering. One mission of mine is to write bills that fund resources and training for diplomats that deliver diplomatic solutions to avoid wars and end current conflicts around the world.[5]
