Peter Hammen
Peter A. Hammen (b. July 1, 1966) is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 46 from 1995 to 2016. He resigned on December 6, 2016, to serve as chief of operations in the Catherine Pugh mayoral administration.[1]
Biography
Hammen's professional experience includes serving as Constituent Liaison to U.S. Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin from 1990-1994, Investigator for the United States Office of Personnel Management from 1989-1990, and Bill Analyst and Special Projects Manager for the Eastern Baltimore Area Chamber of Commerce from 1988-1989.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Brooke Elizabeth Lierman and incumbents Luke Clippinger and Peter A. Hammen defeated Liam F. Davis and Bill Romani in the Democratic primary, while Roger D. Bedingfield, Joh Sedtal and Duane Shelton were unopposed in the Republican primary. Lierman, Clippinger and Hammen defeated Bedingfield, Sedtal and Shelton for three seats in the general election.[2][3][4]
2010
Hammen successfully won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010, taking the first of three seats.[5]

2006
On November 7, 2006, Peter Hammen ran for District 46 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the first of three seats, beating Carolyn Krysiak, Brian McHale, and Peter Kimos.[6]
