Peter Handwork
Peter M. Handwork was a judge on the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals. He took office on January 1, 1983 and retired on February 8, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Handwork received his B.A. degree from Lake Forest College in 1963 and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo in 1966.[1]
Career
After law school, Judge Handwork worked as an assistant U.S. attorney and a general practice lawyer with the firms Eastman, Stichter, Smith & Bergman and then Watkins, Bates & Handwork. In 1977, he began working as a Lucas County Common Pleas judge and he held this position until he became an appellate judge in 1983. He also taught as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Toledo College of Health and Human Services for 26 years.[1]
2006 election
Handwork was most re-elected to a six-year term ending on February 8, 2013.[3]
