Peter J. Cahill was the presiding judge for the Gila County Superior Court in Gila County, Arizona.[1] He joined the court in January 2003 and became the presiding judge in 2006.[2] Cahill retired from the bench on June 30, 2015.[3]

Education

Cahill received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1970 and his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1973.[2][3]

Career

Cahill started his leal career as a VISTA volunteer (Volunteers in Service to America) with the Pima County Legal Aid Society. In 1975, he began working with the Pinal & Gila Counties Legal Aid Society. Cahill entered private practice in 1980, where he worked until he assumed the bench on the Gila County Superior Court in 2003.[2]
