Peter M. Lauriat
Peter M. Lauriat was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Michael Dukakis in 1989.[2] Lauriat may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3] He retired from the bench in 2017 and is employed with JAMS .[4]
Education
Lauriat received his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and his J.D. from the University of Chicago.[5]
Career
Before his judicial career, Lauriat practiced law for seventeen years, focusing on civil and criminal litigation.[6]
