I am Peter Owen, a native of Pinellas County, born originally in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and having lived in Chicago for four years before relocating to Florida, where I have resided for the past two decades. Having spent my formative years and early adulthood in Pinellas County, I am deeply connected to the community.

My commitment to community betterment is reflected in my active involvement in various initiatives, ranging from unhoused assistance and food banks to organizing beach cleanups. I am dedicated to enhancing the lives of my neighbors through meaningful contributions.

In addition to my community engagement, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration from St. Petersburg College. Professionally, I have garnered experience in banking, the legal sector, and insurance, contributing to a well-rounded skill set that aligns with my commitment to service and community advancement.

My first job was working as a general laborer at Indian Rocks Baptist Church. I would clean the busses, pull the weeds on the baseball and football fields, clean the lockers, clean-out the dumpsters, really whatever they needed done. I had that job for about 2 years before going to work for a BBQ Restaurant.

It is so unique because it allows every citizen to have access to the Federal Government. Someone that lives in their district that understand the issues facing their constituents and knows what needs to happen for those issues to be resolved.
No. I think everyone has their own experiences that can help them govern well within the House of Representatives. The US House is also known as "The People's House" It is meant to be an accurate representation of the United States.
I believe it is necessary. As a member of Congress, you represent EVERYONE in your district, not just those who agree with you.
