Peter R. Nuessle
Peter R. Nuessle is an active/retired family court judge for the Second Judicial Circuit. The Second Judicial Circuit has jurisdiction in Aiken, Barnwell, and Bamberg counties of South Carolina.[1] He joined the court in March 1980 and retired in June 2010. Nuessle has been serving as an active/retired family court judge since then.[2][3]
Education
Nuessle received his undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1970.[2]
Career
Before joining the court, Nuessle worked in private practice with the law firm of Garvin and Grant in Aiken, South Carolina. He has also previously served as the general counsel for the South Carolina State Housing Authority.[2]
