I’m running for the state Assembly because voters of the 6th District, along with the rest of Wisconsin, deserve Life, Liberty, and Happiness as our Founding Fathers outlined. Government has grown too big and intrusive, and we need to treat all life with respect and dignity. I’ve been a farmer for my entire life and I’ve served on the Shawano County Board as well as the Hartland Town Planning Committee. I’m pro-life, pro-gun and pro-economic freedoms. I’ve worked hard to grow our dairy business, graduate from UW-Stevens Point, and give back to my community and church.
  • I am the only candidate to propose abolishing the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC). There have been too many inconsistencies and instances of potential fraud for WEC to continue operating. I support banning Zucker-bucks, drop boxes, and ballot harvesting. Our electronic voting systems should not be connected to the internet. Free and fair elections ensure we are not controlled by the Madison elites or Party bosses.
  • I won the Republican primary because I have a positive, uplifting message of working on behalf of the people — not Party bosses. I have tremendous support among the voters. Folks are tired of negative campaigns and mudslinging, and they know they can trust me to vote as they would in Madison. I’m the political outsider in the race, and I’ve funded my own campaign because I refuse to take political action money from the lobbyists and I refuse to be controlled by the Madison elites. Both of my opponents are raising Party money, which means they’re beholden to the power brokers in Madison.
  • Schools should focus on the fundamentals of education instead of pushing leftwing social justice ideologies. Parents must have the right to oversee schools, and they should be informed of the curricula being taught at schools. I oppose divisive programs like CRT and Common Core in our schools, and instead we should encourage more participation in STEM programs to ensure our graduates are skilled and can compete in the international marketplace.
My family has been farming in Bonduel since the 1950’s, and I’m a proud member of the agricultural community and a member of the Shawano County Farm Bureau (former Board member). I’m the only candidate for AD6 who is an active farmer, and I’ll continue to build up and support the agricultural community. Agriculture is one of Wisconsin’s biggest industries and employers, but farmers continue to endure the hardships and challenges of the economic shutdown created by career politicians and so-called political experts. We need to continue to invest in our rural communities to ensure a sustainable food supply for future generations.
I’ll work to keep District citizens informed of what’s occurring in Madison, legislation I’m working on, and my efforts on behalf of constituents. The citizens must be kept well informed and elected officials must be accountable to the voters. I’ll utilize many of the same methods as Gary such as newsletters, but I will also incorporate social media platforms, websites, and emails to keep voters informed and to solicit their ideas for improving our quality of life. One of my priorities is to ensure citizens know exactly what is happening in Madison as government must be held in check.
Feeding dairy calves was my first job as a kid. I tended to the dairy calves till I became 13 years old.
"Bleed The Same" performed by Mandisa featuring TobyMac and Kirk Franklin.
I was the victim of a terrible crime, but I’ve put the matter behind me and I’ve focused on my faith. I’m a strong conservative Christian, but there was a brief moment I struggled with my orientation. No one should be attacked, persecuted, or smeared for their personal orientation. We are a nation of all people, not just the Madison elites, political Party bosses, and the selective few. Let us move forward where all people have the freedom to pursue their Wisconsin Dream.
Wisconsin's greatest challenges is securing our elections! I am the only candidate to propose abolishing the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC).
I believe it's beneficial to build relations with other legislators. We need to stay positive and not get into party politics. Instead, we need to focus on the issues and bring the best solutions to move Wisconsin forward. The people are tired of the negative attacks and lack of transparent communication among the legislators.
I would be honored to be part of the Agriculture Committee. I’ll continue to build up and support the agricultural community. Agriculture is one of Wisconsin’s biggest industries and employers, but farmers continue to endure the hardships and challenges of the economic shutdown created by career politicians and so-called political experts. We need to continue to invest in our rural communities to ensure a sustainable food supply for future generations.
I believe the legislature should oversee the executive branch regarding emergency powers. The legislature is the people's house and represents the people's will. Wisconsin can't afford to have another economic shutdown after the 2020 economic shutdown. No one should have the sole authority to shut down the economy. Stay at home orders and choosing which people are essential workers has no place in a free society.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Wisconsin

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of Wisconsin scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
