Peter Wasylyk (b. January 15, 1957) is a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 6 from 1985 to 2011.

He was a candidate for the House of Representatives in 2012, but was defeated by incumbent Raymond Hull in the Democratic primary on September 11.

Biography

Wasylyk earned his B.S. from Providence College in 1979 and his J.D. from Suffolk University in 1984. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.[1]

Wasylyk ran unsuccessfully for re-election to the 6th District seat in 2010. Raymond Hull defeated him in the primary election. Hull faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]

In 2008, Wasylyk was re-elected to the Rhode Island House District 6. Wasylyk (D) ran unopposed and finished with 4,008 votes.[5] Wasylyk did not raise any money for his campaign fund.[6]
