A Phenix Township Road District Tax Levy proposition was defeated on the April 9, 2013 election ballot in Henry County, which is in Illinois.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Phenix Township Road District to impose a 0.1% property tax levy in order to fund machinery and equipment for road maintenance, construction and repair.[1]

“ | Shall the Township Board of Trustees of Phenix Township levy an "equipment and building tax" at a maximum rate of .10% of the value of all the taxable property in the Phenix Township Road District for the purpose of acquiring machinery and equipment or for the purpose of
acquiring, constructing, or reconstructing buildings for housing machinery and equipment used in the construction, repair, and maintenance of township or district roads, or for both those purposes? YES |
