Phil Potvin
Phillip "Phil" Potvin is a former Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 102 from 2010 to 2017.
Potvin did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.
Biography
Potvin graduated from the Michigan Military Academy, and earned his bachelor's degree from Albion College and his master's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. Now retired, his professional experience includes working as the Chief Executive Officer of Western Concrete. Potvin has served in the Michigan National Guard.

Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. John Ruggles was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Phil Potvin defeated James Higgs in the Republican primary. Potvin then defeated Ruggles in the general election.[4][5][6][7][8]

2012
Potvin won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 102. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and defeated Brendan Maturen (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9]
2010
Potvin won election to the District 102 seat in 2010. He defeated Linda Howard, Morris Langworthy, Jr., Jeremy Mishler and Ryan Steig in the August 3 Republican primary. He defeated Jodi Gabert (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[10][11]
