Biography
Phil Stover was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1978. He earned a bachelor's degree from Penn State University, a master's degree in anatomic pathology from George Washington University, and an M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Stover completed his residency in family medicine at Duke University. His career experience includes working as a family physician and hospice medical director. He specializes in chronic pain management and opioid addiction, and he is the medical director for the Franklin County Volunteers in Medicine.[1]
